IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION Updated September 17, 2021

In alignment with the Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services, the Restrictions Exemption Program is in effect.  This states that all attendees are required to show proof of vaccination or privately paid for PCR negative test result.

  • Provide proof of double vaccination (note that for a transitional period between Sept. 20 and Oct. 25, proof of a single dose would be considered acceptable as long as the dose was given two weeks or more before the time of service). TH
  • Provide documentation of a medical exemption.
  • Provide proof of a recent (within the previous 72 hours) negative COVID-19 test (either PCR or Rapid Test). The test may not be from Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories.
  • Those under age 12 would not need to provide proof of immunization or a negative test to enter a participating business

As we navigate through this new world amid COVID-19, our goal is to keep our attendees and exhibitors safe, informed, and educated on new and improved health & safety protocols and standards.

What you can expect from us/ How the event will look different:

  • Hand sanitizer stations throughout the show and at the entrance and exit of the halls.
  • All Calgary Baby and Tot show staff and volunteers have been vaccinated.

Increased sanitization protocols. The BMO Centre certifications include ISO 14001, Provincial safety COP and is currently working towards their GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation. This means the facility has:

  • Established and maintained a cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention program to minimize the risk associated with infection agents like the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)
  • The proper cleaning protocol, disinfection techniques, and work practices are in place to combat biohazards and infectious diseases.
  • Highly skilled cleaning professionals who are trained for an outbreak and infectious disease preparation and response.
  • 8-foot high dividing draped walls between booths/exhibitors.
  • wider aisles, larger booths, directional signage.
  • Show Guide will be digital.
  •                      What we expect from you/ Help prevent the spread:
  • Masks are mandatory as per city of Calgary Bylaw
  • Do not attend the event if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, and sore throat. Quarantine is required if you have traveled internationally or come in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • Wash your hands, use hand sanitizing stations often and avoid touching your face.
  • There is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and immune deficiencies are especially vulnerable and should consider postponing their visit.

The health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, and team are of paramount importance,  we appreciate your ongoing support and understanding.
